Hello,

So for my first technical post- I'll attempt to keep it brief.

Topic: Time

There is no simple explanation to encompass all of what time really is; however what we can say about time is fairly direct.

Time is the system of those sequential relations that any event has to any other, as past, present, or future; indefinite and continuous duration regarded as that in which events succeed one another. (http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/time)

Looking at time from my perspective, I feel that some individuals are oblivious to the concept of time. Our days revolve around a clock which in turn associates us to daily tasks.
Weather our task is going to work, school, or to the gym- they all include the same common ground. They require (x)minutes of your day, and most importantly they require energy!

So now you're left with generally 16 hours (24hours - 8 hours of sleep) a day.

Now 16 hours seems slightly high (taking into consideration that people work), so minus another 8 hours for a full shift. So now 8 hours of the day remains, and you still have all your daily tasks to do. Here's a short list of possible tasks that remain after a day at work.

-Dishes
-Groceries
-Picking someone up
-Tidying the house
-Taking care of a child
-Preparing supper
-Make a lunch for work

Now the list above is short, but encapsulate the same factors. They require time out of a day, and energy.

Depending on how many people live in your home, dishes can consume a big part of a day. For myself to be in a relationship, there are only two people creating dishes. Even with only Jennifer and I, I use the method shown below to help manage my time.

A common task among people; dishes without a dish-washer. Tragically repetitive, but easy to solve with some initiative:
-Purchase a reminder dish.
-I myself use a yellow mug. Anytime the mug is dirty, then all dishes need to be washed.

Now it's possible to cheat the system by never using a reminder dish; however you'd only be sucking more time out of the days to come.

On an aside, time is known to be the greatest healer of all. So for anyone going through a hard happening of events in life- You need to truly believe that time is the greatest healer of all. The power of change is a seed which is able to be planted, and you'll be amazed at how quick you can overcome demoralizing thought patterns with a little mental work!

Have a wonderful day!
